Safety at your sites warehouse or carpark is increased when you implement a BriTer® Doors Forklift Safety Gate System. Interlocked Pedestrian and vehicle Boom Gates help reduce the likelihood that a pedestrian can walk into the path of a moving forklift on a dedicated pathway.
The system is configured based on the sites requirements in typically one of two modes:
Forklift Mode – The forklift has right of way, boom arms are up and the pedestrian path is locked and secure with electric locks, pedestrian must wait and request access.
Pedestrian Mode – High foot traffic areas where the pedestrian has right of way, the gates are unlocked and the boom arms down, the forklift must wait and request access.
